Pierre Bonnard

Pierre Bonnard, a leading figure of the Post-Impressionist movement and a founder of the avant-garde group Les Nabis, was far more than just a painter of intimate domestic scenes. While his sun-drenched interiors and depictions of daily life, like 'Dining Room on the Garden' (1934-35), are celebrated for their warmth and colour, Bonnard was a radical innovator, pushing the boundaries of perspective and composition.
