Muirhead Bone was a central figure in the British Etching Revival, a movement that sought to restore the prestige of the medium through technical mastery and a focus on urban subjects. In this work, Bone captures the industrial character of Leeds, focusing on the dense, functional architecture of the city's warehouse district.
