Description
Collyweston Quarries centres on pale, cut stone rising from still turquoise water, with leafy quarry rims and summer cloud lending the scene a calm, monumental scale.
Tall squared faces carry deep vertical joints and shadowed recesses, while scattered blocks line the shore. Reflections break into long blue-green bands across the pool, and small white flowers rise beside a rough stone ledge in the foreground.
