This sheet presents three separate studies intended for ceramic plate decoration. The primary design occupies the upper portion, featuring a dense, circular arrangement of floral motifs. The composition relies on fluid, organic lines that define the petals and leaves, creating a sense of movement within the fixed circular boundary. The palette consists of soft, muted tones, including pale yellows, pinks, and greens, which are typical of his preparatory sketches for the Rozenburg pottery factory.
