Description
Falls of Foyers descends through a steep wooded ravine, with bright water cutting between dark rock faces before the broad Highland valley opens beyond.
From a high viewpoint, a silver loch lies between layered hills while tall pines and pale deciduous trees crowd the gorge. The cascade is shown in several white steps, falling into a dark pool beneath sheer purple-grey rock. Falls of Foyers is given a cool, richly textured woodland setting.
