Frithsden Beeches pairs tall pale trunks with a flower-lined woodland path, opening from shaded leaves towards the soft green folds of the Hertfordshire countryside.
Broad crowns overlap overhead in small green and gold shapes, leaving a window of blue sky and cream cloud. The path slopes through leaf-shadowed ground, past a bright bank of bluebells and between slender trunks with mottled bark. Beyond the woodland, hedged fields and rounded ridges are arranged in gentle layers, catching the afternoon light.
