Jan van Goyen was a prolific painter during the Dutch Golden Age, known for his mastery of atmospheric effects and the depiction of the low-lying Dutch countryside. This work, titled Riviergezicht, captures a quiet moment along a waterway, a recurring theme in his oeuvre.
