Eugene de Blaas, also known as Eugenio de Blaas, was a prominent figure in the Venetian school of painting during the late nineteenth century. Born in Albano Laziale to an Austrian father and an Italian mother, he spent much of his career in Venice, where he became a professor at the Academy.
