In this composition, he presents three figures standing on a temple balcony, their tall, slender proportions characteristic of his mature style. The women are dressed in kimonos with subtle floral patterns, their postures relaxed as they observe the view.

To the left, the distant peak of Mount Fuji is visible, providing a sense of scale and seasonal context. The architectural elements of the temple frame the figures, creating a sense of depth that guides the eye from the foreground balcony toward the horizon. Kiyonaga employs a balanced colour palette, using muted tones of green, soft red, and ochre to maintain a sense of harmony.
