The upper section depicts the Holy Trinity, with Christ seated in glory, flanked by adoring saints and angels. The lower register features six standing saints arranged in a symmetrical, rhythmic fashion, framing a central niche that houses a sculpture of the Madonna and Child.

Perugino employs a balanced, clear spatial arrangement typical of his work. The figures are rendered with a sense of calm and grace, characteristic of the Umbrian school. The colour palette remains restrained, favouring soft tones that harmonise with the architectural setting of the chapel. The drapery of the saints' robes is handled with precision, creating gentle folds that suggest volume without disrupting the overall serenity of the scene. The background of the upper register features a light, atmospheric sky, which provides a sense of openness and distance.

This work demonstrates the artist's ability to integrate human figures into a structured, devotional space.
