Louis XV of France
Louis XV Bourbon (1710–1774) reigned as King of France from 1715 to 1774. He was the great-grandson of Louis XIV and ascended the throne at the age of five.
Biography
During his minority, the regent Philippe II, duc d’Orléans, governed France from 1715 to 1723. The Rococo period is aligned with the reign of Louis XV.
