Description
A pale stone bridge gives Llanfair Talhaiarn in Conwy its riverside character, with three broad arches reflected below village roofs and green banks beneath a softly clouded sky.
Llanfair Talhaiarn stands beside the Afon Elwy in Conwy, Wales. A minor road crosses the river on the village bridge, linking the houses beyond with the bank-side approach. The riverside also provides a place to pause beside the water.
Three rounded arches span a still grey-blue reach, with reflections stretching towards the grassy near shore. Cream walls and dark gables gather beyond the right-hand pier. Dense trees rise behind the stonework, while soft green slopes and muted purple hills extend across the distance. White clouds open into long horizontal bands above the valley.
