Description
Pwll Du Bay sweeps from a green headland to a pale shingle curve, where shallow water meets the beach and the sea deepens to blue.
Sun catches pale bands in the rocky slope, while small white cottages sit back from the shore. At the cove’s edge, narrow blue channels weave through sand and low grasses follow the right bank. Light moves from warm grass to grey rock before the darker vegetation at the lower edge.
Pwll Du Bay opens from the wooded rise towards the waterline below. For someone who knows this coast, the curve of shingle beside open sea may bring back the scale of the cove, with small white cottages tucked below the green slope.
