Martiros Saryan
Martiros Saryan was an artist who participated in the Crimson Rose exhibition in Saratov in May 1904. This exhibition represented a departure from the naturalistic study of nature into a world of fantasy and painterly fable.
Biography
Three years after the Crimson Rose exhibition, Saryan formed the nucleus of the Blue Rose exhibition in Moscow. Solis Prints offers fine art prints of his work, including Aragats and Mount Ara, Noon, Spring Day, and Wisteria.
