Description
A' Bhuidheanach Bheag in Perthshire spreads a broad purple crown above gold slopes, with a valley road and dark conifer belt beneath orange clouds in the warmth of a late spring sunset.
This 936 metre Munro rises on the extensive plateau east of Drumochter Pass. The broad domed summit is commonly combined with Càrn na Caim. Tracks provide access to the open high ground, with another approach starting near Dalnaspidal Lodge and climbing through Fuar Mhonadh.
A' Bhuidheanach Bheag forms a long purple dome cut by a shallow central gully. Gold light spreads over its grassy shoulders, with one white snow patch remaining near the upper hollow. A road and thinner parallel route cross the valley below a dark conifer belt. Pale foreground rocks stand among rust coloured grass beneath orange clouds, suggesting a warm late spring sunset.
