A blindfolded male figure, dressed in courtly attire and carrying a bow, is guided by a woman toward a princess who stands on a raised platform. The princess, accompanied by her attendants, holds a document, suggesting a formal or romantic encounter.
The artist employs a palette of muted earth tones, punctuated by the bright orange of the princess's garment and the soft pinks of the sky at dusk. The architecture is rendered with precise, thin lines, reflecting the focus on structural detail common in the period.
