Description
Aberaeron's pale shore and close-set rooftops sit between open water and a steep green headland, giving this coastal view a quiet mood with room to breathe.
A broad strip of sea fills the left side, meeting the sand and low stone edge in several shallow curves. White houses with warm roof tiles sit close together in the middle distance. In front, an ochre footpath winds down through dark shrubs and yellow grasses; two timber posts and their wire line stand beside its lower bend. Beyond the town, patchwork fields climb the hills while a broad bank of clouds stretches above the bay. The highest slope to the right catches warm light, against the cooler shade across the foreground plants.
Where the Aeron reaches Cardigan Bay, Aberaeron's coastal setting meets a long shore and harbour town. The Ceredigion Coastal Path offers views towards the compact waterfront, bringing buildings, bay and green headland into one sweep.
