Afon Ddu Gorge channels bright, rushing water between mossed rock walls, while a narrow winding railed footpath leads through the sunlit, sheltered trees above.

A stepped stream runs from the wooded distance towards the foreground, breaking over dark boulders in short white cascades. Tall grey cliffs close in on both sides, their ledges softened by vivid moss and hanging vegetation. On the left, a paved footpath with simple black rails follows the ravine before disappearing beneath the canopy and pale cloud.
