Description
Beinn Bhuidhe rises at the end of a stony ridge path, its shadowed rock face falling away beside muted purple vegetation while the glen opens far below to the left.
An outlying Munro in Argyll, Beinn Bhuidhe stands apart from the nearby Arrochar mountains. The traditional approach follows Glen Fyne before climbing onto rougher ground, where a narrow ridge leads towards a summit of exposed rock and grass.
Pale broken stones form a line through the lower slope, bending right before returning towards the crest. The rounded shoulder catches warm light, with deep grey shadows cutting into its far side. Small patches of violet interrupt the olive ground. Beyond the steep drop on the left, successive ridges fade into blue, with distant water visible between them beneath a scattering of broad clouds.
