Description
Beinn Dearg Mor, Fisherfield in Wester Ross, Highland, rises beyond blue inland water, its broken grey skyline framed by green slopes, rusty shrubs and pale rocks in the foreground.
Near Dundonnell, this Corbett stands within the remote Fisherfield Forest. Alongside its smaller namesake neighbour, the mountain lies across Loch na Sealga from An Teallach, placing the group within a landscape of steep rocky heights and long inland waters.
The jagged crest of Beinn Dearg Mor, Fisherfield breaks the central skyline above blue grey gullies. Low green ridges extend towards a broad loch, its irregular shoreline receding between tawny points of land. Near boulders lie among olive grass and rusty plants on the right hillside. Cream clouds cross a clear blue sky, suggesting an early autumn day with strong light on the exposed rock.
