Description
Beinn Reithe (Ardgoil) in Argyll offers a spacious summer outlook of smooth green ridges and branching blue water, with pale foreground slabs catching sunlight above deep hillside shadows.
The Ardgoil peninsula separates Loch Goil from Loch Long in the Scottish Highlands. Here a group of hills forms the southern part of the Arrochar Alps, inside the national park of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs; their slopes rise directly above these long coastal inlets.
From this elevated viewpoint, Beinn Reithe (Ardgoil) stands among smooth green ridges and branching blue water. A large shaded face darkens the nearest hill, while pale rock slabs spread across the foreground. Brown plants interrupt the grass, and distant shores fade into cool haze. Puffy white clouds and strong daylight suggest a clear summer afternoon above the lochs.
