Description
Bwlc Crannog shows a thatched roundhouse standing above still water, reached by a timber walkway between reed beds and the low distant gently rolling hills.
The roundhouse has a steep straw roof, pale walls and a dark central doorway, enclosed by a ring of upright timber stakes. A narrow boardwalk approaches over the water, its woven rails casting small shadows across the planks. Reeds fill the near shore, while green hills form layered bands behind the lake.
