Description
Calgary curves around a white sand bay on Mull in Argyll and Bute, where turquoise water, low green hills and machair form one of the island's most distinctive coastal settings.
On Mull's north western shore, the bay holds a long sweep of pale sand with machair behind it and wooded hills along the sides. A woodland trail connects sculpture and carved works with the shore, adding a cultural route through the coastal landscape.
Calgary is shown across an intensely turquoise bay edged by white sand. A weathered grey shed with a rust orange roof stands on the nearer grassy slope, with a thin mast behind it. Dark shoreline rocks divide the water from green turf and rounded boulders. Bright clouds and fresh hillside colour suggest summer, with sunlight sharpening the beach's pale arc.
