Description
Caswell Bay on the Gower coast curves beside a grassy headland and grey shore rocks, with empty gold sand reflecting blue shallows beneath the clear bright sky of summer.
Close to Mumbles on Swansea's Gower Peninsula, this sandy cove is known for family visits and surfing. A coastal walking route links it with neighbouring Langland, combining beach access with views along the rocky margins of this sheltered stretch of Welsh coast.
At Caswell Bay, broad golden sand stretches beneath a steep green promontory on the left. Grey rocks form a broken edge at its foot, opposite fine white lines of incoming surf. Blue shallows leave long reflections across the wet beach. Small cream clouds float above the headland, with clear colours and an empty shore suggesting a sunny summer morning.
