Description
Choose a sheltered sailing shore at Chichester Harbour, where a sandy path opens between dune grasses towards calm turquoise water and small white sails beneath low wooded banks.
A red buoy sits to the left of a yacht with bare masts. Farther out, a larger triangular sail stands near the centre, with tiny white sails spaced along the distant shore. A thin wave meets the beach below the grass, and yellow field patches brighten the low hills beyond.
Chichester Harbour has a generous calm from the northern tip of East Head. The close dunes give the wide water a tangible point of approach, while the yachts suggest routes continuing beyond the visible shore.
