Christ is shown with his right hand raised in benediction, while his left hand supports a cross-staff bearing a banner. The surrounding space is filled with cherubic heads emerging from clouds, and the Holy Spirit, represented as a dove, descends from above. The German inscription, 'MIR IST GEBEN ALLER GWALT IM HIMEL VND ERDEN' (All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth), encircles the central figure, reinforcing the theological theme of the work.
