Description
City of London gathers the Gherkin, a green river bridge and historic stone facades beside the Thames, where bright cloud bands sharpen the changing skyline.
The rounded, diamond-patterned Gherkin rises at the centre of a dense cluster of glass and stone buildings. In the foreground, a pale green bridge carries a sequence of arched spans across the Thames, with dark water reflecting its structure. Classical facades, a domed tower and small riverside trees layer the older city beneath the sharply angled clouds.
