Description
Green slopes rise towards Clisham in Eilean Siar, with a clear burn winding between pale boulders beneath the mountain’s broad cone and a bright sky of scattered white clouds.
Clisham, or An Cliseam, is a mountain on Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Its direct ascent begins beside the Abhainn Mharaig, north of Tarbert, following the water before climbing onto steeper ground. Lower slopes can be boggy, while the upper route passes through rocky terrain.
The peak stands left of centre, with dark horizontal bands crossing its broad face. Sunlit grass spreads over the lower shoulders, broken by scattered grey stones. In the foreground, blue water slips around large boulders and between tufted banks. The winding hollow leads uphill towards the cone, with rounded slopes closing the view on the right.
