Description
Cooling’s round stone towers rise above the village road, their old walls framed by greenery in a warm, settled Medway scene, creating a calm sense of place.
Two cylindrical towers dominate the left side, with narrow openings and weathered stone courses visible in the light. A lane passes beside the wall, bordered by a wooden fence and flowering shrubs. Roofs and trees appear beyond the entrance beneath a soft sunset sky.
The towers make Cooling’s church precinct unmistakable in this view, while the lane shows how the historic walls meet the village around them. Visitors can connect the stone entrance with the quiet streets and open countryside of Medway. The lane gives a clear approach to the stone entrance, and the round towers remain the defining feature above it.
