Gentileschi's career took him across Europe, from Rome to Genoa, and eventually to the court of Charles I in London. While in England, he produced some of his most celebrated works, including the ceiling paintings for the Queen's House in Greenwich, showcasing his mastery of perspective and illusionism. Gentileschi's influence extended beyond his own creations, as he mentored his daughter Artemisia, who would become one of the most celebrated female painters of the Baroque era. His paintings, such as 'David and Goliath' and 'Annunciation', are celebrated for their refined elegance and emotional power. Orazio Gentileschi died in London in 1639, leaving behind a legacy of artistic innovation and a body of work that continues to captivate audiences today.
