Description
Draught Sands centres on a monumental sea arch above a curving beach, with layered cliffs, gentle surf and heather-coloured slopes opening onto the coast.
A tall weathered sea arch rises from the rocky foreground, its broad opening framing calm blue water. A thin white surf line traces the crescent beach, while broken boulders sit at the foot of the headland. Farther round the bay, dark vertical cliffs recede in stages beneath a pale clouded sky, with purple heather scattered over the slope.
Draught Sands is presented as a coast for taking in slowly, where the beach and cliff line make a clear route through the scene. Visitors can return to the sweep of water and stone, while people with a connection to Pembrokeshire will recognise the open, elemental character of its western shore.
