Description
Fionnphort's sheltered bay holds a small dinghy and a larger boat beside the quay, with low village roofs following the rocky shore beneath a wide sky over Mull.
Fionnphort is a village on Mull in Argyll and Bute. White walls cluster along the low rise behind the water, with a strip of grass separating them from pink-grey rock outcrops. A long dark roof stretches across the right side above the moorings.
Golden light runs across the rippled surface towards the foreground, meeting cooler blue shadows beside the stone landing. Orange and mauve clouds fill the upper sky. The close quayside angle keeps Fionnphort's modest buildings and working waterfront together, with the little open boat giving a gentle counterpoint to the vessel alongside.
