He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and Section d'Or, becoming a well-regarded figure in the Parisian art scene. His work often explores themes of modernity and the changing urban environment. 'Fumée et arbres en fleurs' ('Smoke and Flowering Trees') presents a fragmented view of nature, rendered through a Cubist lens. The composition is broken down into geometric shapes and planes, with muted blues, greens, and yellows creating a hazy atmosphere.
