Description
Snow streaks the Highland ridges above Glen Strathfarrar, while a blue reach of water curves between sunlit grass and scattered trees across the broad green valley floor.
Glen Strathfarrar lies near Ardchuilk in the Scottish Highlands. Its lower ground forms an open grassy corridor between steep mountain slopes, with water and scattered trees below the higher ridges. Snow can linger on the upper ground while the sheltered valley remains green.
Here pale blue water crosses the middle distance, edged by rounded clusters of trees. Long grass fills the near slope, with darker blades cutting across the light. Above, the mountain flank changes from deep blue shadow to bright white snowfields. Cream clouds stretch over the ridge, contrasting with the turquoise sky and the broad sunny patches on the valley floor.
