Description
Snow sharpens the broken skyline of Glyder Fach in Conwy, where jagged crags rise beyond rough foreground boulders and deep blue shadows give the Welsh mountain a clear winter presence.
Glyder Fach forms part of the Glyderau mountains in Eryri, North Wales. Bristly Ridge climbs towards its craggy upper ground. The view from the head of Cwm Tryfan places the whole mountain above a foreground of fractured rock and boulders.
White snow fills the gullies between upright teeth of grey stone. Angular blocks spread across the nearer slope, their sunlit tops warmer than the shaded faces below. A broad rock shelf breaks the lower edge of the view. Wisps of cream cloud stretch across bright blue, leaving the serrated ridge sharply defined against the sky.
