Description
Holywell Beach spreads in pale gold around a winding tidal stream, with dark rock shelves at the left and a long low coast beyond the surf.
The stream bends in a broad S across smooth sand before reaching the sea. Scattered stones break the shallow blue channel, and a large dark outcrop anchors the left foreground. Narrow white breakers run parallel to the beach. Across the bay, pale cliff marks show beneath a green ridge, while tall cumulus clouds build above the right side.
Holywell Beach lies on Cornwall's north coast. The curving watercourse gives the broad strand a gentle rhythm, with the far ridge holding the view together. Its open space and changing tide patterns will appeal to anyone who enjoys long beach walks and wants that sense of room at home.
