Description
Hove in Sussex opens across pale curved terraces and crowded rooftops, with red chimney pots, distant church spires and green hills beneath a blue sky softened by broad banks of summer cloud.
West of Brighton's central seafront, this seaside town is known for an architectural mix that includes Regency Brunswick Square and the modernist Embassy Court. Promenades link the built shoreline with lawns and colourful beach huts, giving the Sussex resort a distinctive relationship between domestic streets and coast.
The elevated view over Hove layers cream curved façades with slate roofs and closely packed chimney stacks. Red pots repeat across the skyline towards a slender church spire and a smaller dark tower. Leafy trees partly hide a domed stone structure in front. Pale distant hills and lavender-edged clouds suggest soft sunshine during a clear afternoon in summer.
