Description
Hoveton in Norfolk faces a blue river with moored white boats, a timber-framed waterside building and a distant church among leafy trees beneath the open light of summer.
Within the Norfolk Broads, this village stands northeast of Norwich across the River Bure from Wroxham. It lies near Hoveton Great Broad and Hoveton Little Broad, placing the settlement among the connected rivers and lakes that define this part of the county.
At Hoveton, two white boats fill the middle ground in front of a black-and-white timbered building with warm red roofs. A pale parasol shades outdoor furniture beside the riverside frontage. Behind trees on the left, a church tower rises above a grey roof. White flowers and long green reeds edge the foreground, with bright clouds suggesting clear midsummer weather.
