King Henry VIII's Mound presents a tall pale monument on a green rise, with white cliffs, blue water and crisp paths unfolding beneath a brilliantly clear sky.
The tower narrows through sharply shaded masonry to a tiny dark cap, its base divided into broad geometric steps. A light-coloured stair flight approaches from the right, while a low parapet runs along the summit.
