Description
King Henry VIII's Mound gives a London park walk a remarkable sense of reach, an inviting city connection for those who enjoy finding broad horizons beyond sheltered lawns and mature trees.
An immense leafy branch spreads across the upper left. Below, dark horizontal conifer boughs contrast with rounded deciduous crowns around open grass. Pale multi storey houses appear through the middle distance, beside a glint of winding water; a distant dome rises above the low urban skyline beneath softly shaded clouds.
