Description
Lake District Ski Club looks towards snow-streaked fells and clear turquoise water, with its red-roofed lodge bringing a crisp mountain-day atmosphere to Westmorland and Furness.
The white gable carries a crossed-ski motif above tall blue windows, and a dark rail runs along its stone terrace. Behind it, folded green slopes rise to a grey summit marked by long snow-filled gullies. A narrow pale path descends towards the water, where scattered rocks interrupt the grassy bank beneath a clear blue sky.
