Description
At Llan Ffestiniog, layered blue-green ridges recede behind a small valley settlement, while tawny grasses fill the foreground beneath broad clouds; Manod Mawr rises on the right.
At Llan Ffestiniog, a scatter of pale buildings sits across a wide green valley, tucked below overlapping mountain ridges. A dark tree line separates the village from irregular fields, and a rounded slope at right anchors the horizon.
Tawny grasses form broad foreground bands, with fine dark strokes giving way to fields beyond. Cream clouds gather above the blue-grey range. Manod Mawr, part of the Moelwynion range, rises on the right. The village lies low between the field pattern and rising land, leaving the mountain silhouette as the strongest distant feature.
