Description
Llangennith Beach, Slade Sands opens along a wide crescent of pale sand, where dune grasses frame curling turquoise waves beneath a clear, cloud-filled sky.
From the raised path, the shore curves away beneath a low green headland with a flat-topped profile. Fine white lines of surf repeat along the water's edge, and long bands of gold lead across the bay. Seed heads and coarse grasses fill the near slope, giving the foreground a windswept texture.
At Llangennith Beach, Slade Sands, the open shoreline offers an immediate sense of the Gower coast without needing a crowded scene. The sweep of beach, the exposed grassy bank and the meeting of sea with distant land make this a useful reminder of time spent walking out beside the tide.
