Description
London–Fort William follows a steam train across a high arched viaduct, with blue water and folded Highland peaks turning the railway journey into a grand northern passage.
From the foreground arch, the rail line curves around the loch towards a wooded headland. The dark locomotive and red carriages cross pale masonry, while bands of turquoise water sit beneath green slopes. High, broken mountain ridges rise behind the train, their shadowed faces balanced by a wide cream-clouded sky.
