Description
Lowestoft Ness pairs a towering white wind turbine with a sweeping seafront, giving the coastal view a bright, breezy sense of scale beneath its wide Suffolk sky.
The turbine’s narrow mast rises high into a sky crossed by pale clouds. Below it, a modern building sits behind the sea wall, and a low breakwater leads towards a small lighthouse on the distant point. Waves trace white lines along the shore, while angular concrete blocks and grass fill the foreground.
Lowestoft Ness places the working edge of the coast beside an open stretch of beach. The turbine and sea defences speak to a shore shaped by both energy and protection, details familiar to anyone walking this part of Suffolk. The curve of surf leads the view out towards the lighthouse at the far end.
