Description
Luinne Bheinn in Highland Knoydart rises beyond gold grazing ground and lavender water, with horses beside a sandy inlet beneath peach clouds and warmly lit mountain shoulders on a summer evening.
Luinne Bheinn is a 939 metre Munro in the remote Knoydart peninsula, often climbed with neighbouring Meall Buidhe. The usual approach begins at Inverie and follows the interior glens. Its high ridges overlook a landscape between Loch Nevis and Loch Hourn, far from the public road network.
Four horses stand on the flat grass beside a pale sandy shore, with smaller grazing animals farther into the glen. A narrow track curves along the lower left bank. Beyond the lavender water, steep mountain shoulders catch gold light around a pointed central crown. A thin burn appears between the far slopes, while warm cloud edges suggest the stillness of a long summer evening.
