Description
Marloes Mere winds through grazing fields as a low island and distant headland sit beyond the water, beneath a wide blue sky above the Pembrokeshire coast.
Sheep graze on the open pasture beside shallow pools edged with scrub. Yellow gorse brightens the low banks, and the sea appears beyond a narrow band of fields. A small island and a longer headland break the distant coastal horizon.
Marloes Mere forms part of this Pembrokeshire landscape, with irregular inlets dividing the wet ground into green peninsulas. The near field provides a broad, level foreground below the winding channels. Across the middle distance, water reflects the clear daylight between patches of rough vegetation. Sheep stand against the darker hedge along the lower bank.
