Description
Meall Glas in Stirling overlooks a gold green mountain glen beyond a broad shaded snow patch, with orange clouds and purple distant slopes catching the low light of an early spring evening.
This 959 metre Munro occupies the high ground between Glen Dochart and Glen Lochay. Both glens offer approaches to the summit. Walkers often combine it with Sgiath Chùil, although the steep intervening slopes also make separate ascents a practical choice within this open mountain district.
Meall Glas looks over a broad patch of white snow with lavender blue shadow towards a long gold green valley. A thin pale line follows the glen floor below rounded slopes and a distant pointed mountain. Small snow streaks remain near the upper ridges. Broken orange and purple clouds suggest low evening sunshine during an early spring thaw.
