This print reproduces a folio from the celebrated Mushaf of Ahmed Karahisari, a monumental Quranic manuscript commissioned during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. Karahisari, a master of the Ottoman school, is recognised for his development of the Muhaqqaq script, which is displayed here with exceptional precision.
