Description
Raad ny Foillan (Way of the Gull) follows the Isle of Man coast, where pale surf breaks against dark rock below green headlands and fields reach the edge of blue water.
Green headlands rise above steep rust-brown cliffs, their edges traced by white surf. Small coves curve into the shore, while blue sea fills the foreground beneath pale bands of cloud. A soft cloud bank spreads across the upper sky.
Visit Isle of Man presents the Raad ny Foillan (Way of the Gull) as a coastal walking route. Its RNF 1 section runs from Douglas to Derbyhaven, following Marine Drive south along the coast; the guide says this old coast road eventually reaches Port Soderick. For walkers, this named section marks a defined way to follow the island’s southern coast.
