Description
Sunlit flowers overlook Redgate Beach in Torbay, where clear green water meets a narrow curve of sand beneath a wooded rock face and the pale remains of coastal steps.
Redgate Beach lies below Walls Hill near Babbacombe in Torbay. Its small sandy shore sits at the foot of a wooded, rocky bank. From this elevated outlook, the cove forms a narrow curve between the sea and the steep coastal ground above it.
Darker patches beneath the turquoise water reveal the uneven shallows, while a thin white edge follows the sand. Pale concrete steps stand against the bank on the right. Yellow flowers and reddish stems fill the near grass, framing the sheltered hollow below. Dense foliage covers the rock face, with open blue sea stretching beyond the low coastal rocks.
